Palo Alto College hosts first-ever 24-hour enrollment event, Register & Rave

Alamo Colleges District - Palo Alto College is hosting “Register & Rave” – a special 24-hour edition of its  semi-annual Countdown to College event to help new and returning students enroll for Fall 2022. To make it easier than ever to register for classes, the event will be held on Tuesday, June 28, from 7 a.m. to  Wednesday, June 29 at 7 a.m., a 24-hour period.

To meet the needs of all its potential students, Palo Alto College’s team of certified advisors and student  success staff will be available to help students with enrollment steps, financial aid applications, advising,  and class registration. Students who register for classes during this event will be entered for a chance to  win a $250 scholarship, with a total of 24 winners selected throughout the day and night. Plus, attendees  will be treated to hourly giveaways, door prizes, childcare services, music, and games while they get  registered for the upcoming fall semester.

Palo Alto College has a variety of programs to offer. Students enrolling in Business Management,  Computing Sciences and Technology, and Landscape and Horticulture for a minimum of 12 credit hours  during the fall semester may be eligible to receive up to $2,500 towards their tuition. Attendees can learn  more about this opportunity as well as PAC’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs by visiting  the CTE table during the 24-hour Countdown to College event.

The Alamo Colleges District is preparing young adults to enter careers in finance and advanced  manufacturing through a Youth Apprenticeship Readiness program. This program includes a combination  of school-based and work-based learning. Participants will gain hands-on experience to make them more  employable in the advanced manufacturing and finance industries. Additionally, the Alamo Colleges District

is a proud partner of SA: Ready to Work, a one-of-a-kind program to help San Antonio residents find easy  access to education and quality, high-paying jobs with local employers.

Palo Alto College will continue its Graduate and Drive Car Giveaway sponsored by North Park Toyota.  Students who register for the Fall 2022 semester may become eligible to participate in this car giveaway  if all eligibility requirements are met by the time students graduate.
